So as I write this I am listening to Glassjaw, I have finally got around to doing a second yes a second entry to my Tumblr.
What to write about? well I should update on my thoughts of Dead by Dawn for a start then we have my thoughts on TV shows I`ve started to watch and finished in this time. Also a massive massive movie has come out in the last few days you might know what that is if you don`t its called in the United Kingdom.

Dead By Dawn 2012
So this year I was on my own as the people I`d met last year the lovely couple Gigi and Joel could not make it up. But I ran into some faces I`d also met last year. Alister from Glasgow that now lives in London, and Al from Sex Gore Mutants. Very friendly people indeed I am not very good with being social interaction but in places like this that are full of people that have a keen interest in Horror and the strangeness that get shown at this wonderful event makes it easier to strike up a conversation. This year I got to have a chat and mingle with Harvey Fenton who runs a book publishing company called Fab Press.
Now Fab press are a specialist publishing company in that they release what I would call complex studies on Cult genre cinema such as Japanese Pink cinema history. They are very fantastic books, the man is very very interesting and did not mind me bothering him while he was working editing his next book.
This year the film I was most hyped up for was Cabin in the woods. I was rather worked up for this a lot to say the least If you know me you will know how excited I was, And how let down I was so let down utterly let down.
Yet for that let down the festival was full of wonderful wonderful short films and one that fucked me up right up it did……fucking to creepy for me.
Lobos de Arga was the winning movie this year It was about Werewolves and damn was it funny and scary! and we all loved it so much <3 plus the director was very amusing and made for an interesting Q&A after the screening. Sad to see that the film got screened here before its even been released in Spain. Such a sad state is Spanish cinema.
just so many good films this year. Roll on 2013 for the 20th birthday of Dead by Dawn I cannot wait!
TV
So I started to watch Homeland, WOW what a show totally loved it got hooked into it as soon as I started watching the first episode so much that I watched all 11 more episodes after the first. So on that day I watched 12 hours of wonderfully crafted crazy paranoid TV. Our tv channels need to really up their game the last show that I had to watch every week was Charlie Brookers Black Mirror and that was the start of the year 4 months ago.
We need to really invest in daring crazy ideas in our dramas not just more boring cop shit like Vera or whatever Itv is making. We need more Homeland Game of thrones breaking bad. These shows are filled with talent that started out within the United Kingdom.

What to say? well I`ll say this IT WAS SO AWESOME! I came out of the screening and It had me so pumped I told my friends I wanted to hulk punch people. Yeah I wanted to punch people because it was that awesome I felt like I could take on anyone and beast them in a fight it had me so pumped up.
I shall be seeing it a further two more times in the coming week I shall be looking for things I didnt see first time around again I am really looking forward to see it.
I hope so much that it makes enough to at least take second place from Avatar I think its Avatar that has second place in highest grossing movie of all time. Blue cat movie is lame…
closing thoughts
